My partner and I were travelling back to Germany after the GAVA 2026 Annual Exhibition so we decided to stop at Sainte Mere Eglise to visit the Aces High Gallery there (a nice coincidence after winning the award). It's obviously a very historic place and the gallery is located right in the square.
My thanks to Steven who welcomed us, it was very nice to chat. It was great to see the memorabilia and the great art by Robert Taylor, Keith Burns and Anthony Saunders to name a few.

I'm immensely proud to have received the prestigious 'Aces High Aviation Painting of the Year' award for my F4 Phantom painting 'Wattisham Warrior' at the Guild of Aviation Artists 2026 Annual Exhibition at the Shuttleworth Collection.
The Guild is very special and to win the highest award is incredible and something I will treasure for the rest of my life. I'd like to thank Aces High Gallery, Phil Hadley, Richard Thorne, Andrew & Janet Latham and everyone who managed to surprise me with the win.
I'm also thankful to everyone who congratulated me, everyone from the Guild offer so much help and encouragement and it is a privilege to exhibit alongside such talented artists in such a great venue.

I was so pleased to have my two paintings accepted for the Guild of Aviation Artists 2024 Annual Exhibition at the Shuttleworth Collection. I'm proud to say that I was highly commended for the Arthur Gibson Memorial Trophy for the second year running for my painting 'Gleaming Electra'.
It was a privilege to display my work alongside the Guild's excellent pieces of work this year, the standard was very high. Also the venue with some of the oldest flying aircraft in the world completed a very special event.

I was thrilled to have two of my paintings displayed at the Guild of Aviation Artists 50th Annual Exhibition at IWM Duxford. It was my first time exhibiting as a Friend of the Guild so I was a bit nervous beforehand!
My painting of Concorde 'Speedbird Dusk Arrival' was highly commended in the 'Aviation Painting of the Year' and 'Arthur Gibson Memorial Trophy' categories. This was a big achievement for me, especially in my first Guild exhibition so I was delighted. It was incredible to be exhibiting at the huge IWM Duxford amongst so many historic aircraft, great artists and whilst coinciding with the Summer Air Show.

May/June 2023
I was amazed and delighted to see that my painting, 'Speedbird Dusk Arrival', is being used to promote the GAVA 2025 Annual Exhibition in Airliner World Magazine. What an honour!
I have two works accepted for display in what will be my first time exhibiting with the Guild as a Friend. IWM Duxford is such an iconic location and to exhibit work there alongside some of the world's best aviation artists is exciting, but also a little scary!
The Guild of Aviation Artists 50th Annual Exhibition begins on 23rd June at the IWM Duxford.
