Wattisham Warrior

My oil painting of the amazing F4 Phantom FGR2, XT914 at Wattisham Station Heritage Museum. This painting was inspired by the photoshoots that take place at the Museum. I chose to depict the Phantom 'alive' with crew and engines running during a night taxi (for extra atmosphere).

This painting was the winner of the prestigious 'Aces High Aviation Painting of the Year 2026' Award at the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Exhibition at the Shuttleworth Collection. Please click on the info/events tab above and scroll down to see pictures from the ceremony.
